Assigning a Query to Yourself

Overview

Lender users with the appropriate role can assign queries to themselves from the Team Queries page.

This allows lender teams to manage work efficiently by allowing users to pick up queries from the team query pool.

Before You Begin

Self-assignment is only available where:

  • The user has the appropriate lender case management role.
  • The query is available to the user’s team.
  • The user belongs to the same team as the query pool.

Assigning the Next Available Query

To assign a query to yourself:

  1. Navigate to Queries.
  2. Select Team Queries.
  3. Review the available team queries.
  4. Select Next Query.
  5. VERSA Connect will open the next available query from your team’s query pool.
  6. The query will be assigned to you automatically.

Confirming Assignment

You can confirm the query has been assigned to you by checking the Assigned To section within the query details.

Your name will be displayed as the assignee.

Reassigning a Query

After assigning a query to yourself, you can reassign it if required.

This may be used to:

  • Return the query to the team pool.
  • Allocate the query to another team member.
  • Redirect the query to someone with the relevant knowledge or expertise.

  • Managing Your Query Workload
  • Responding to a Query

        Best Practice

        Only assign or reassign queries where it supports efficient handling and helps ensure the query reaches the most appropriate lender team member.
