Managing Priority Queries
Overview
The Priority flag helps lender users identify queries that may require urgent attention.
When a query is marked as Priority, VERSA Connect uses colour indicators to show the urgency of the query.
Priority Indicators
|
Indicator |
Meaning |
|
Orange |
The query has been flagged as important but is not yet within seven days of the completion date. |
|
Red |
The priority query is within seven days of the Completion Date or Anticipated Completion Date and should be reviewed urgently. |
How Priority Timing Works
VERSA Connect monitors the completion timeline for priority queries.
- If a Completion Date has been entered, the system uses this date to determine when the seven-day period begins.
- If a Completion Date has not been entered, the system uses the Anticipated Completion Date.
When a priority query falls within seven days of the relevant date, the indicator changes from orange to red.
Managing the Priority Flag
Although a conveyancer can raise a query as Priority, the Priority status is managed by the lender.
After reviewing the query, you can remove the Priority flag if you determine that priority handling is no longer required.
Removing Priority
To remove the Priority flag:
- Open the query.
- Review the query details.
- Use the Priority toggle to remove the flag.
- The query returns to its standard status and is no longer highlighted as priority.
Best Practice
Review red Priority queries as a matter of urgency to help prevent delays to completion.
