What is a Lender Query Processor?
Overview
A Lender Query Processor is responsible for managing and responding to queries assigned to their lender team in VERSA Connect.
This role helps ensure conveyancer queries are reviewed, progressed, and resolved efficiently throughout the transaction process.
What a Lender Query Processor Can Do
As a Lender Query Processor, you can:
- View active and closed queries assigned to you.
- View active and closed queries assigned to your wider team.
- Assign queries to yourself from the team query pool.
- Reassign queries to another team member where appropriate.
- Review query details and supporting information.
- Add notes.
- Attach supporting documents.
- Apply or remove the Priority flag.
- Respond to conveyancers.
- Update a query status to Resolved once a response has been provided.
- Raise new queries.
- Close queries.
- Queries are managed consistently.
- Team responsibilities remain clear.
- No query is overlooked.
- Communication between lenders and conveyancers remains efficient.
- Query progress can be tracked throughout the transaction lifecycle.
What a Lender Query Processor Cannot Do
Lender users cannot:
- Raise new queries.
- Close queries.
Queries can only be created by conveyancers. Once a lender marks a query as Resolved, the conveyancer must review the response and decide whether the query can be closed.
